Artificial Forests

Artificial forests refer to ecosystems created by human intervention, typically involving the planting and cultivation of trees and other vegetation in an area that may not have previously supported a forest. These forests are often established to restore natural habitats, improve biodiversity, enhance aesthetic value, provide timber and other forest products, and contribute to carbon sequestration efforts. Artificial forests can include reforestation projects, afforestation (the establishment of forests on non-forested land), and managed plantations. The design and management of artificial forests are usually guided by ecological principles to mimic natural forest structures and functions, promoting sustainability and environmental health.
